Leopoldo Soria, 62, of Salinas, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013. He was born September 10, 1950, in Mexico.
Leo loved to listen to music, play racquetball, travel throughout the United States, and watch wrestling, Mixed Martial Arts and boxing matches
Leo was preceded in death by his father, Ruperto Mancera - Soria in 2008.
Leo is survived by his wife of 20 years, Deborah Soria of Prunedale; sons, Austin of Prunedale, Stephen (Elizabeth) Soria of San Jose, Ryan (Sandra) Soria of Sacramento, Shawn (Liz) Soria of Glendale, AZ.; daughter, Shannon Soria of Watsonville; step-daughter, Jennifer Evans of Salinas; mother, Sara Soria of Salinas; brother, Raul (Lidia) Soria of Salinas; sisters, Carolina (Fidencio) Beltran of Salinas, Guadalupe (Ismael) Sanchez of Salinas, Isabel Soria of Salinas; 17 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 16, 2013 from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m., at Struve and Laporte Chapel, 41 W. San Luis St., Salinas, CA 93901.
Funeral service will be held Friday, May 17, 2013 at 1:00 p.m., at Struve and Laporte Chapel.
Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 850 Abbott St., Salinas.
