Marge Wright, 76, died peacefully Thursday, January 17, 2013. She was born December 16, 1936, in Loveland, CO. She was a lifelong resident of Salinas and known to family and friends as "Aunt Marge."
Marge will be remembered for her loving nature and generosity. Three generations of nieces and nephews will especially remember how they felt so loved and spoiled by their aunt who never said "no." She always made herself available to babysit, fundraise, share her special recipes, or even bake wedding and birthday cakes. When Aunt Marge wasn't busy helping others, she enjoyed reading or trying new recipes. Her dishes became popular and requested by many. She enjoyed playing in her Bonco group for more than 40 years. Marge retired from the Pacific Bell Telephone Company in 1988; she worked there for 31 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Keith and Faye Wright; and brothers, Donald and David Wright.
She is survived by her sister, Bonnie Alvarado and her brother, Daniel Wright.
Per her request, no funeral services will be held.
Family and friends will be celebrating her life and sharing memories at her sister's home on Saturday, January 26, 2013, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
