Nellie Concepcion

Nellie Heres Concepcion, 83, passed away April 19, 2010, at her Fairfield, CA residence.
She was born June 26, 1926 in the Philippines, to Serafin & Caridad Heres who have preceded her in death. Nellie was a resident of Seaside since 1955 until she moved to Suisun, CA in 1989 following the passing of her beloved husband Julian, Sr.
Nellie was very active with a variety of hobbies, including raising orchids & cactus, gardening, crocheting, cooking, baking; as well as playing with her great grand kids, visiting with family and friends and taking long walks with her favorite pet 'Beemer'; in addition to watching TV sports of ice skating, golf and the Olympics.
Nellie was active in her church religious organizations inclusive most recently at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel - Fairfield.
Nellie is survived by her children, Josephine "Josie" Guerrero of Monterey, Julian R. Jr. (Dolly) of Las Vegas, Marilyn (Ernie) DeSoto of Suisun; she has six grandchildren, Michael A. (Diane) Guerrero of Monterey, Edgar (Samana) DeSoto of San Diego, Chris (Dana) Concepcion of San Jose, Melanie (Kevin) McMaster of Murrietta, Michelle (Mario) Sanchez of Vacaville and Kristen (Dominic) Remaro of Elk Grove; ten great grandkids, Jason L. and Katy Guerrero, Julian and Nicolas DeSoto, Konnor and Kameron McMaster, Frankie and Tony Remaro, Massimo Sanchez and Ashlee Concepcion. Nellie is also survived by her pet Yorkie "Beemer".
Preceded in death by her daughter Darlene R. Reyna in 1987.
Visitation: From 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 26, at Bayside Community Mortuary, 1610 Noche Buena St., Seaside.
Rosary: 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 26, at Bayside Community Mortuary.
Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 27, at St. Francis Xavier Church, 1475 La Salle Ave, Seaside.
Burial: Will follow at Mission Memorial Park.
