Clementina Ramirez Magana
Clementina Ramirez Magana, 75, was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 26, 2013, in Salinas. She was born in Quiroga, Michoacan, Mexico and was a local resident for 53 years.
Clementina had lots of reunions at her home and she always had a warm hug to give. She loved her family, flowers, dogs, and chickens. She was very independent and strong willed, still driving, cleaning, laughing, smiling, and chatting up until her last days. She helped many people throughout her life. God blessed her hands and she was able to help a lot of unfortunate women who were not able to conceive children. Many strangers have grown to love her. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her faithful companion of 25 years, Salvador Zepeda; daughter, Angelica Mendez; son-in-law, Juanito Mendoza and daughter-in-law, Patricia Mendez; grandchildren, Patricia Chavez, Alejandra Alvarez, Angelica J. Alvarez, Margarita L. Campa, Miguel Angel Mendez, Octavio Jr. Mendez, Sara Mendez; 12 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and her close friend of 53 years, Rafita.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dionicio Mendez and son, Octavio Mendez.
A Memorial Mass will be held Monday, November 4, 2013 at 10 a.m., at Sacred Heart Church, 22 Stone St., Salinas, CA 93901.
