Milton Adkins

James "Jim" Milton Adkins, 72, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2014, at his home from a lengthy illness. He was born August 19, 1941 in Madill, OK, to Milton and Mildred Adkins.

Jim graduated from Salinas High School in Salinas, the class of 1959. He resided most of his life in the Salinas area and retired in Twin Falls, ID.

Jim worked at the Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical, and also at the National Refractories.

Jim always enjoyed being with his old friends and meeting new ones. He married Mary Adkins on May 29, 1982. He enjoyed Nascar, antique cars and corvettes, traveling in his motorhome and fly fishing.

Jim is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Mila Reyes, James Adkins, Jr., Juli Salinas, and Lynette Krajewski; two step-children, Debbie Folan, and Tony Azevedo; 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins in Oklahoma and Texas.

A Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, January 10, 2014 at White Mortuary "Chapel by the Park" 136 4th Ave E. Twin Falls, ID; with viewing on Thursday, January 9, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. and 1 hour prior to the service.

Interment at Sunset Memorial Park.
