Nettie (Graham) Burton
Nettie, 93, was born in Centrahoma, OK on April 12, 1919 and went home to meet the Lord on Sunday, January 13, 2013. She was happily married to her husband Ira V. Burton (Bud) for 41 years.
She was survived by her daughter, Annita La Dene Galimba; son-in-law, Arthur Galimba; their two children, Jeremy Galimba and Rachelle Phillips and three great- grandchildren, Jaden, Logan and Lincoln, all of Salinas. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially the grands.
She had a strong passion for her faith in God and faithfully attended the First United Pentecostal Church/Life Christian Center for 63 years.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed baking, sewing, quilting, crochet, upholstery and making window coverings. She also operated a child daycare business in her home for about 30 years. Many thanks for the awesome support and prayers from family and friends during this time of loss. You are loved.
Visitation will be held Sunday, January 20, 2013, from 1 to 9 p.m., at the Healey Mortuary, 405 N. Sanborn Road, Salinas, CA 93905.
