In loving memory of Rosa Tanori who joined our loving Father on Saturday, October 13, 2012, with her family by her bedside. She was born December 31, 1941 in Santa Teresa, Sonora, Mexico and became a long time resident of Salinas since 1964.
She will be truly missed by her family and friends, and will be remembered for her loving spirit, warm heart, vivacious sense of humor, infectious smile, and an outgoing personality. She loved cooking, sewing, gardening, singing, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. In 2002, she retired from Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital after 15 years of service which people always remember her as a joyful person who regularly sang to her co-workers.
She is survived by her children and grandchildren. Children, Carmen Hernandez, Lupe Basaldua (Jose), Bobby Hernandez (Alejandrina), and Belinda Hernandez; grandchildren, Alyssa Hernandez, Rey Anthony Garcia (Cassie), Tamara Basaldua, Vanessa Hernandez, Jenevie Basaldua, Branden Garcia, Natalie Basaldua, Evita Hernandez, and Jacob Hernandez; and her lifetime partner and friend, Roberto G. Hernandez, who faithfully was always by her side.
She was preceded by death by her father, Eduardo Tanori; her mother, Carmen Tanori; and her brother, Ruben Tanori.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at Alta Vista Mortuary, 41 East Alisal St., Salinas, CA 93901.
Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at Alta Vista Mortuary.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at Our Lady of Refuge Church, 11140 Preston St., Castroville, CA 95012.
Burial will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 18200 Damian Way, Salinas, CA 93907.
