Ruben C. Sanchez Sr.
Ruben C. Sanchez Sr., 81, of Salinas, passed away Monday, July 9, 2012. He was born September 20, 1930, in Santa Monica.
He graduated from Salinas High School and then went on to attend Hartnell College.
Ruben was a construction laborer for 30 years.
He volunteered with countless organizations hroughout his lifetime.
Ruben was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Margaret M. Sanchez.
He is survived by his son, Ruben Sanchez Jr.; daughters, Diane Hernandez, Lucille Villacana and Rosalie Espinoza; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
Private services have been held.
