Annamarie Miller

Annamarie Miller, 54, passed away Monday, Feb. 24, 2014 in Salinas, where she resided. Annamarie was born March 13, 1959 in Newark, New Jersey, to Anthony and Theresa Cullari.

In 1971, her family moved to Phoenix, AZ where she graduated from Thunderbird High School in June of 1977. Ann then continued on to study cosmetology at Rose-Mar College of Beauty in Mesa, AZ, graduating in 1978. Her dreams of one day becoming a wife and mother would soon come true; on July 10, 1982, she married David Wayne Miller in Scottsdale, AZ and together they created their family. In 1989, she returned to school where she attended Rio Salado Community College in Arizona and succeeded in Computer Technology for Communications & Business.

Annie and her youngest daughter moved to San Jose in 1990, where she worked for several years in Purchasing and Sales. Annie will always be remembered for her playful laugh and cheerful smile. Annamarie was understanding, patient, and loyal by nature. There is no denying that she had a heart of gold and her willingness to give to or help someone in need was very fulfilling to her.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Theresa and William Katz; as well as her brother, Gene Katz.

She is survived by her daughters, Rachel Miller of San Jose, Suzette Armstrong, and Dava Marut, both of Phoenix, AZ; four grandchildren of Arizona; sisters, Francine Siebenthall and Irene Venturino and brothers-in-law, James R. Siebenthall and John Venturino; six nieces; two nephews; aunt, Maria Di Pisa; uncle, Philip A. Di Pisa; uncle Charlie Chirico and his wife, Barbra Chirico; uncle, Harry Katz; and first cousins, Charlie Chirico, Donna Biase Joann Santos, and Dina Di Pisa.

A service will held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, March 22, 2014, at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery and Mausoleum, located at 18200 Damian Way, Salinas.
