Daniel H. Miranda
Daniel H. Miranda Sr. of Salinas, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2014, in El Centro. He was born June 22, 1961 in Bakersfield, to Abraham O. and Mary Ellen H. Miranda.
Dan's career expanded to many areas. He owned and operated Handy Man Dan and Dan's House of Kustom's Auto and Body Shop in Salinas. He also worked for Salinas Union High School Maintenance Dept., National Refactories, Moss Landing, Eugene and Steve Dahm in Brawley and most recent for Premier Towing in El Centro. He was co-founder, member and President of the Nosotros Car Club in Salinas.
Dan is survived by his son, Daniel Miranda Jr. of Salinas; spouse, Elizabeth A Miranda of Salinas; mother, Mary Ellen H. Miranda of Fabens, TX; sisters, Sylvia (Socorro) Contreras of Fort Worth, TX, Christina (Jesus) Jaime of Shafter, Leticia (Trinidad) Jaime of Shafter; brothers, Manuel Miranda of Delano, David Miranda of Fabens, TX; along with numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family and friends.
He was recently preceded in death by his father, Abraham O. Miranda.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 9 p.m. Friday, July 18, 2014, at Healey Mortuary, 405 N. Sanborn Road, Salinas, CA 93905.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, July 19, 2014, at the Healey Mortuary Chapel.
Burial to follow services at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 18200 Damian Way, Salinas, CA 93907.
