Rose Mary Thomas
Rose Mary Thomas, 46, passed away suddenly at home Wednesday, November 7, 2012. She was born and raised in Salinas.
In 1992, she moved to Northern California with her husband. She was the President of Network Business Machines, Inc. in Redding for the last 17 years. Rose was also very active in the Redding community.
She was an avid hiker, kayaker, gardener, and loved the outdoors. The light of her life were her two dogs, Lassen and Ginger.
She is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Steve Thomas; by sister, Mary (Robert) Schlalos; sister, Theresa (Don) Parslow; brother, Tony (Nancy) Cunha, Jr.; and sister, Suzie (Vern) Leavitt. She is also survived by numerous aunts and cousins, and was always known as "Auntie Rose" to her numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tony and Betty Cunha, Sr.
Per her request, she will be cremated and honored on Saturday, November 17, 2012, in Redding.
Rose loved "pound puppies", so in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local Animal Shelter in her memory.
