Shirley Graciela Bermio
Shirley Graciela Bermio, 76, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 31, 2013, surrounded by her loving family, after a short illness. She was born January 12, 1937.
She worked as an L.V.N. at Dominican Oak Manor in Santa Cruz and at T.J. Lipton also in Santa Cruz, as a Packing operator for 10 years. When the Tea Plant closed in Santa Cruz, she was offered a job in Las Vegas, NV and moved there. She worked as an operator for Good Humor Bryer's Ice Cream, a sister company of T.J. Lipton.
She is survived by four daughters, Lydia (Rudy) Luna, Pacita (Tommy) Antrez, Mabel Marie (Martin) Henderson, Debbie (Armando) Villarreal; son, Johnny Bermio, and was raising one of her grandsons, Travis Bermio; two sisters, Pearl Banuelos, Romona (Felix) Ponce; brother, Chris (Nancy) Santana; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Bermio; mother, Lydia Dolores Bazurto Munoz and father, Santiago Yanez Munoz, both born in Phoenix, AZ.
