Albertina "Tina" Rosales
Albertina "Tina" Rosales, 79, died peacefully at home Monday, April 29, 2013, with her family by her side. She was born in Fort Sumner, N.M., resided in Arizona and in 1970, moved to Monterey County.
Tina worked for Oshita Farms in Gonzales, before retiring with the Gonzales Unified School District, where she worked in Food Service for 18 years.
Tina loved her family and enjoyed working in the garden. She was a hard worker, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Tina is survived by her husband, Ruben Rosales of Gonzales; brother, Tony Herrera of Union City; children, Hope (Henry) Vidal of Casa Grande, AZ, Gloria Rosales of Gonzales, Teresa Bermudez of Gonzales, Frances Rodriquez of Soledad, Michael (Rosa) Rosales of Salinas, and Rebecca (David) Rosario of Gonzales; 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Joe Flores, Fidel Herrera and Rudy Herrera; sister, Josephine Perez; and her son, Gabriel Rosales.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 10 a.m., at St. Theodore's Catholic Church, 125 Center St., Gonzales, CA 93926.
