Francisca Sampayan Daquioag Obituary

Francisca Sampayan

Francisca Sampayan Daquioag peacefully went to rest Monday, July 1, 2013, at Natividad Medical Center in Salinas. Francisca, also known as "Ancis", was born December 14, 1921, in Davila, Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte. She was the daughter of Pablo Sampayan and Norberta Madrid and had three siblings: Juan, Jacinto, and Paula, whom have also gone to rest.

In July of 1983, she migrated from Philippines to Gonzales and later found herself residing in Salinas from 2004 to 2013. She was a member of the Laoaguenian Association of Monterey. She had a big heart and was always one to help others. In the Philippines, she was a layman midwife and in America, she continued her altruistic passions with those around her.

Francisca's husband, Florencio Ramos Daquioag, had passed December 25, 2008, but they are survived by their seven children, Leo and Sunia Daquioag of Norfolk, VA, Wilson and Socorro Daquioag, Rizal and Ofelia Daquioag, Rod and Merlinda Daquioag, Florencio Jr. and Gloria Daquioag, Clarita and Ralph Velasquez, and Leonora and Roberto de Luna; all of whom reside in Salinas. She left a legacy of 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

She will be deeply missed but her memory will continue to live on through our thoughts, prayers, and love.
