Elijah John Michael Alvitre, 3, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2013. He was born February 12, 2010, in Salinas.
Elijah was loved by everyone that his life touched. He was always happy and was fondly known as "Batman".
Elijah is survived by his mother, Karena Mendoza; father, Aaron Alvitre; sisters, Jenise, Nana and Melody Cavazos; brother, Ezekial Cavazos; grandmother, Jenny Alvitre; great-grandmother, Myrna Alvitre; aunts, Amanda Snider, Cassie Alvitre and Rosaline Cienega; along with other loving family and extended family members.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2013 from 1 to 9 p.m., with a Rosary Vigil at 7 p.m., all at Healey Mortuary, 405 N. Sanborn Road, Salinas, CA 93905.
A Chapel Blessing will take place Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at 1 p.m., at the Healey Mortuary Chapel.
Burial to follow services at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, 850 Abbott St., Salinas, CA 93901.

Man Elijah i alwats knew you were special but now i know why you were an angel the whole time. I will never forget yoy im gonna miss you little man. Im so going to miss you Elijah. So much of last year was spent loving you and taking turns caring for you and your beautiful big sister Melody. Oh how I wish I could turn back the time and hold you onece again. Your mother loves you so much and is doing everything to make you and your brother and sisters proud. You will be missed deeply. I love you baby boy and cherish all the times we shared. You may be gone from this earthly world but will remain in my heart until you open up the gates for me.
