Alejandro R. Morales
Alejandro R. Morales, 69, graduated to Heaven on Monday, January 6, 2014, while surrounded by his loved ones at the Veterans Hospital of Palo Alto. Mr. Morales was born in Mexico and came to the U.S. with his family at a young age to work.
Alejandro is a Veteran of the Vietnam War, where he earned a Purple Heart. He was a hardworking man who worked as a truck driver for most of his life. He was a resident of Castroville for more than 35 years. He loved spending time with his family; he was an avid Raiders fan and season ticket holder, loved driving around in his '55 Chevy Pick Up and most importantly loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Mr. Morales is survived by his loving wife, Socorro; four sons, Alex Morales, Roberto Morales, Ricardo Morales and Gerardo Morales. He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren, Natalie Morales, Cristian Morales, Manuel Morales, Ayiannah Morales, Leo Morales, Sammy Catania, Logan Catania, Frank Catania, Ariana Morales, Angel Morales and Atletli Morales. He will also be missed by a number of other family members and friends.
A Graveside Funeral service will be held with Military Honors on Tuesday, January 14, 2013 at 9 a.m., at the San Joaquin National Cemetery in Santa Nella.
