Louis Douglas Taylor

Louis Douglas Taylor, 61, passed away Nov. 14, 2013, after a long battle with a critical liver illness. He was born Dec. 8, 1951.

A graduate of North Salinas High Class of 1970, he also worked at The Salinas Lettuce Farmers Co-op, The Highlands Inn, The Carmel Water District and owned his own motorcycle shop amongst other things.

Louie was an avid motorcyclist and lover of the open road.

He was much loved by family and friends. He is dearly missed

He is survived by his son and two daughters.

A Celebration of Life/Potluck will be held for Louis Douglas Taylor (Big Lou) at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 2014, at American Legion Post 593, 8300 Prunedale North, Prunedale, CA 93907.

My deepest condolences to Louie's children and family. I went to NSHS w/Louie. He was always a nice guy to me, it would be YEARS but when we'd run into one another he always had a "hello" for me. I'm sorry for your loss. "Louie Louie", was a sweetheart.

to the family my condolences i'm so sorry to hear about louie as we grew up together since little kids.my him and billy jumping over the rope in holtville when we were 5-6 years old.we landed on rope while brother billy was swinging it and broke his collar bone.we laughed every time we seen each other.you will be missed my old friend.

Louie Rest In Peace. I knew Louie from HSHS and only ran into him once after high school. He was a very unique person and will be missed by all who new him. The laughter Louie brought still resonates within me...peace be with you Louie.
