Bernard "Bernie" Pavick, 78, of 105 Broad Street, Matawan, N.J., died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2015, at his home.
Born April 3, 1937, in Brockway, Pa., he was the son of the late Joseph Pavick Sr. and Frances Bauer Pavick.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, June Pavick. She resides in Matawan, N.J.
Bernie was a graduate of Brockway High School and the Williamsport College of Technology.
He was retired from Bristol Myers Squibb in New Brunswick, N.J.
Bernie was a 4-year veteran of the U.S. Navy.
In addition to his wife June, he is survived by his son, David Pavick of Highlands, N.J.; his stepsons, Fred Bradford, Kevin Bradford, and Ron Bradford; five grandsons. He is also survived by two sisters, Theresa Keister of Brockway, Pa. and Rita Sprague of Lexington, Ky. as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph Pavick Jr. and Raymond Pavick; and one sister, Dolores Pavick Crowell.
Bernie was an avid hunter spending many seasons hunting in the Brockway area with his son David and his friends from Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
He attended the Calvary Chapel in Old Bridge, N.J.
