Gary Kennis Obituary

Gary C. Kennis "Snide", 66, of Route 119, Punxsutawney, passed away Tuesday morning, Dec. 13, 2016, at Christ the King Manor in DuBois.
Born Jan. 16, 1950, in DuBois, he was a son of the late Charles B. Kennis and Eleanor (Clark) Kennis.
He is survived by two sisters, Connie Lightner of St. Marys and Lori (Ed) Angelo of St. Marys; one brother, William A. (Brenda) Kennis of Punxsutawney; three nieces, Melissa (Ray) Terwilliger, Ashley (Daniel) Bowser and Jessica (Adam) Barbazzeni; two nephews, Justin Angelo and Nicholas Lightner; and six great nieces and nephews.
He was an avid sports fan, especially Steelers and Pirates.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Philip (Butch) Lightner.
There will be no public visitation.
Memorials may be sent to the charity of the donor's choice.
