Dale A. DeLarme, 87, DeLarme Road, DuBois, died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born Nov. 10, 1928, in DuBois, he was the son of the late Frank and Mary E. (Phelps) DeLarme.
He married his devoted wife of 64 years, Crementine (Marinable) DeLarme on Oct. 13, 1951, at the St. Francis Church in Clearfield, Pa. She survives.
Dale was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Korean War.
He owned and operated Shadyside Farm in Brady Township. He was also employed by Quaker State Oil and was self-employed with Dale's Pump and Hoist.
Dale was a Baptist by faith.
He enjoyed being outdoors and tending to his animals. He loved his family dearly and cherished his late night "parties" with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his children: James A. DeLarme and his wife, Kathy of Sykesville, Daniel B. DeLarme and his wife, Leslie of DuBois, Sarah A. Caltagarone and her husband, Joseph of Reynoldsville and Randy M. DeLarme and his wife, Julie of Punxsutawney; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was preceded in death by four brothers: Frank, Bert, Wray, and Lane DeLarme; and two sisters, Mary Mrsny and Anna Mae Oman.
Visitation will be held from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015, from the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 7, 2015, from the funeral home with Pastor Ben DeLarme officiating.
