Debra Jean (Bailey) Nickolson, 54, Stump Creek, passed away suddenly Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at Penn Highlands DuBois.
Born March 8, 1961, in Clearfield, she was a daughter of James and Jean (Smith) Lindy, who survive in Reynoldsville. She was married to Thomas Nickolson. He survives in Stump Creek.
Debra was a graduate of DAHS. She attended Soldier Community Church. She was born with a green thumb, able to make anything grow. She loved her cat and two dogs.
Debra is also survived by two sons, Jason Porrin of DuBois and Joseph and wife, Jenna Porrin, of Brockway; two stepchildren, Stephen Nicholson of Sykesville and Jessica and husband, John Dunhan, of Brookville; three brothers: Toby, Danny and wife Naomi, and Shawn Bailey, all of Reynoldsville; one stepbrother, James R. Lindy Jr., also of Reynoldsville; one sister, Cindy Socoski of Grassflat; two stepsisters: Janet and husband Rick Speck of Reynoldsville and Joann and husband Mike Bennett of Brockway and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Tammy Jo Johnson.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 24, at Soldier Community Church with the Rev. Kevin Brooks officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Leo Nedza Funeral Home of Sykesville.
