Derek Robert Bullers, 31, formerly of Brookville, passed away at his home in Houston, Texas, on Aug. 10, 2014.
Born May 17, 1983, in DuBois, he was the son of Robert and Susan Bullers, Brookville, and Sharon and Bengt Blomberg, Houston, Texas.
He graduated from Brookville Area High School where he was on the wrestling team and enjoyed being with his friends.
He attended the Brookville First Assembly of God Church while growing up.
He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding four wheelers.
He served in the Air Force and was stationed in Texas and RAF Mildenhall, UK.
He was employed by STX Service Americas where he traveled all over the world working on the engines of oil rigs at the time of his death.
He is survived by two children, Gavin Robert Bullers of Canon City, Colo., and Zoey Phalista Bullers of Houston, Texas; siblings: Jason Armstrong of La., Christina Bullers Marsh of Texas and Tessa Blomberg of Texas; grandparents, Robert and Molly Bullers of DuBois, and Alvin and Cris Bedeaux of Minnesota. Also numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held Saturday, Aug. 16, at the Roseville Independent Chapel to honor Derek and was attended by his family and friends. Pastor John Thomas officiated.
