Eric E. Young, 42, Airport Road, Falls Creek, died Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2015, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Born April 3, 1972, in DuBois, he was the son of Eugene H. "Shiner" Young and Janet (Allshouse) Young. They both survive and live in Falls Creek.
He was a 1990 graduate of Jeff Tech.
He worked 20 years as a bricklayer with the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftsman Local #9. He also worked 10 years in construction with many contractors in the area.
He was an active member of the Falls Creek Eagles Aerie #965 and the Olympic Athletic Club for many years.
He enjoyed his children, his dog and family. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and riding his Honda VTX1800. He also enjoyed sports and helping with the Little League.
He is also survived by two children, Erica Dawn Young and Alexander Harwood Hunter Young, both of DuBois; two sisters, Pamela L. Young (Jeff Weaver) of Punxsutawney and Marsha Ann Disselhoff (Steve) of Sabula; and his loyal pet, Ryder.
Visitation will be held from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 23, 2015, at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home, DuBois. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 24, 2015, at the funeral home with the Rev. Fr. Matias Quimno and Pastor David Nagele, co-officiating.
