Henry A. Fustine, age 93, formerly of Alexander Street in Brockway, Pa., currently a resident at Brookside Senior Living in Brookville, Pa., died on Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016, at Brookside.
Born on Dec. 27, 1922, in Brockway, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Adele Marchetti Fustine.
He was married to Kathryn E. Mooney and she preceded him in death on May 31, 2011.
Retired, Henry had been employed as a Mould Maker at Brockway Glass for 42 years.
He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran and was a member at St. Tobias Church in Brockway. Henry also was a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, wood working, bowling, gardening and camping. Henry was an avid Pirate and Steeler fan.
He is survived by four daughters: Dolores (Marshall) Wolfe of St. Marys, Pa., Karen (Dennis) May of Brockway, Joanne (Craig) Gahr of Kersey, Pa., Janice (David) Inzana of Brockway; two sons, Dennis (Jeanne) Fustine of Brockport and Robert (Annette) Fustine of Durham, N.C. Henry is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and his wife he is also preceded in death by two brothers, Victor and Aldo Fustine and five sisters: Emma Boschini, Inez Cummings, Mary Armanini, Edith Fustine and Violet Benasutti.
Calling hours will be today, Sunday, Nov. 27, from 6-8 p.m. at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, Nov. 28 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Tobias Church in Brockway with Msgr. Charles Kaza presiding. Burial will follow in St. Tobias Cemetery. A Vigil Service will be held Sunday evening at 7:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Military Honors will be accorded by Parson-Marnati Post #95 of the American Legion Monday morning at the cemetery.
