Joseph S. "Muz" Albino, 85, formerly of Walston, Pa., died Sunday, Feb. 14, 2016, at Christ the King Manor in DuBois, Pa.
He was born Oct. 18, 1930, in DuBois, Pa., the son of the late Joseph and Lena (Assalone) Albino.
He was married to the former Ursula Mondi, who preceded him in death on May 15, 2012.
He was a laborer/truck driver for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
He is survived by one daughter, Sandy Scialabba and her husband, Bernie of York, Pa.; and by one sister, Rose Maxwell of DuBois, Pa. He is also survived by five grandchildren: Nicole Lovich and her husband, Justin, Michele Scialabba, Lynae Shepp and her husband, Nate, Karrie Scialabba and Valerie Scialabba; and by one great-grandson, Landon Shepp.
He was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved bowling.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016, at the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.
A Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 19, 2016, at Ss. Cosmas and Damian Roman Catholic Church in Punxsutawney, Pa., with the Rev. Msgr. Joseph J. Riccardo officiating.
Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Punxsutawney, Pa.
