Justin Andrew Barraclough, 29, of Brockway, Pa., passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Jan. 21.
Justin was a strong individual with a great outlook on life.
Born July 8, 1986, in DuBois, Pa., he was the son of Richard and Bonny Pierce Barraclough, who still reside in Brockway, Pa.
Justin (Gus) was a 2005 graduate of Brockway High School. While in school Justin was an avid soccer player and well involved with the Boy Scouts of America. He was a proud member of Boy Scout Troop 40 and achieved Eagle Scout in 2004. He was also a member of the Moorhead United Methodist Church.
Justin always had an ability to make others smile. He had an artistic view on life and a colorful style. While quiet at times, he was full of laughter and joy and will always be remembered for that.
He is survived by his parents, Richard and Bonny Pierce Barraclough. His siblings: sister, Nicole (Josiah) Stoltzfus of Waukesha, WI; four brothers: Michael Barraclough of Yorktown, Va., Jordan Barraclough, Christian Barraclough, and Aaron Barraclough, all of Brockway, Pa.; his maternal grandparents, Andrew and Shirley Pierce of Erie, Pa., and two nieces, Kaylin and Ivy. Justin is also survived by an aunt, Cindy (Dave) Park and uncles, Wayne (Valerie) Barraclough and Roger Pierce, along with numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Wayne and Joyce Barraclough.
A private funeral service will be held with Pastor Dave Bish as the officiant. Friends and family will gather from 3-6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 25, at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc., Brockway.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Bucktail Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
Our vision is that everyone takes some time to think of Justin fondly and remember him always. He will be smiling with you.
