Leona D. Armagost, 90, of Reynoldsville, Pa., died on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016, at Jefferson Manor in Brookville, Pa.
Born Sunday, June 7, 1925, in Reynoldsville, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Lee M. and Ida B. (Brosius) Snyder. She was the wife of the late Paul E. Armagost.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
She was a member of Reynoldsville Trinity Lutheran Church. She was active in functions both at the church and the Foundry.
Surviving are son, Fred Armagost (Joann) of Reynoldsville, Pa.; daughters, Judy Kougher (Donald) of Reynoldsville, Pa. and Diana Kougher of DuBois, Pa.; brother, Kenneth L. Snyder of Reynoldsville, Pa.; sister, Betty J. Vivian (Lucius Jr.) of Reynoldsville, Pa.; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by daughter, Beverley Mills; brothers, Elwood Snyder and Clarence Snyder; sister, Annabel M. Clontz; and grandson, Sean Armagost.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29, 2016, at Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home Inc., 206 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, Pa.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Reynoldsville Trinity Lutheran Church, located at 329 Jackson St., Reynoldsville, PA 15851 with the Rev. John Miller officiating. Interment will be in Lakelawn Memorial Park, Reynoldsville, Pa.
