Leonard E. Edwards, 71, of Reynoldsville, Pa., died on Jan. 13, 2017, at Penn Highlands DuBois in DuBois, Pa.
Born Monday, May 14, 1945, in DuBois, Pa., he was the son of the late David H. Edwards Sr. and the late Ethel C. (Freedline) Edwards. He was the husband of Bonnie J. (Charles) Edwards. She survives.
He was a graduate of Reynoldsville High School.
He was a member of the Reynoldsville Sportsman Club, Reynoldsville American Legion Post #392, and the DuBois V.F.W.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, going out to eat and car rides.
He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and served on the USS Truxtun.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Tonya Gallup (Greg) of Treasure Lake, DuBois, Pa., Christy Guthridge (Tom) of DuBois, Pa. and Crystal Walter (Curtis) of Sigel, Pa.; brothers: David H. Edwards Jr. of Reynoldsville, Pa., Floyd A. Edwards of Windermere, Fla., Jerry D. Edwards of Las Vegas, Nev., Robert M. Edwards of State College, Pa., and Larry L. Edwards of Reynoldsville, Pa.; and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by brother, James T. Edwards.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2017, at Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home Inc., located at 206 E. Main St., Reynoldsville, PA 15851, with the Rev. Thomas Carr officiating. Following the service military honors will be preformed by the DuBois Honor Guard. Interment will be in Lakelawn Memorial Park, Reynoldsville, Pa.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2017, at Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home Inc.
