Linda M. Orsich, 70, DuBois, passed away Monday, Sept. 25, 2017, at Highland View Heath Care after an extended illness.
Born Feb. 7, 1947, she was the daughter of the late John "Sarge" and Grace (Indre) Gordon.
On Oct. 9, 1965, she married George "Mick" Orsich in Sykesville. He preceded her in death on Sept. 21, 2004.
Linda graduated from the DuBois Area High School in 1965. She was a homemaker and formerly owned and operated Linda's Ceramics. Linda attended the DuBois Christian Missionary Alliance Church. She enjoyed ceramics and spending time with her family.
She is survived by four children: Todd (Brenda) Orsich of Clearfield, Melanie (Bryant) Shelton of Gray, Ga., Wendy (Jamie) Kephart of Sykesville, and Garth Orsich of DuBois; eight grandchildren: Brandon Orsich, Jennifer Weaver, Thomas, Justin, and Shelby Anthony, and Clairice, Annelise, and Jamison Kephart; two brothers, David (Edith) Gordon of Pleasant Gap and Bill (Gloria) Gordon of Grove City; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Mattern of DuBois; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will be received Friday, Sept. 29, from 11 a.m. to noon at the Adamson Funeral Chapel, Inc., in DuBois. A Service of Remembrance will be held immediately following Friday's visitation at noon with the Rev. Tim Connor officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to the local autism awareness group, DaFeat, 276 Treasure Lake, DuBois, PA 15801.
