M. Luella Lauver, 89, Reynoldsville, died Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at Christ the King Manor.
Born Dec. 18, 1924, in Reynoldsville, she was the daughter of the late Jesse K. and Carrie M. Kness Hannah.
On Sept. 28, 1944, she married Charles G. Lauver. He preceded her in death Nov. 19, 1998.
She was a graduate of Reynoldsville High School and the DuBois Business College.
She worked at Ideal Products in Sykesville as a secretary, then at the Penn Traffic Company as a sales representative.
Luella was a member of the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church where she was very active in church affairs, playing the piano and serving as treasurer for many years.
She was an avid bowler and competed in many state tournaments.
She loved spending time with her family, was a great cook and enjoyed taking care of her flowers.
She is survived by her son, Jerry Lauver and his wife, Linda, of Reynoldsville; two daughters, Connie McIntosh and her husband, Thomas;, of Sharpsville, and Pam Magee and her husband, Garth, of Reynoldsville; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1, 2014, at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home, DuBois.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014, at the funeral home with Pastor Leon Blose officiating.
Burial will follow in Morningside Cemetery.
