Margaret "Peggy" A. Kutoloski, 80, of Reynoldsville, Pa., died on Friday, Dec. 15, 2017, at her home in Reynoldsville, Pa.
Born Saturday, Oct. 23, 1937, in Reynoldsville, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Kenneth W. Smith and the late Bernice D. (Lyons) Smith. She was the wife of the late John A. Kutoloski.
She was a graduate of DuBois Area High School Class of 1955. After high school she worked as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone in DuBois. From 1967 to 1991 she was the co-owner of John's Texaco Kwik Shop, and 1985 to 1997 she was the secretary and treasurer of Bradford St. Beer Distributor in Reynoldsville. She then worked at Hallmark Card Co. and American Greeting Card Co. as a retail merchandiser.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She was a part of the church choir, Eucharistic Minister, the Rosary-Alter Society and a greeter at St. Mary's Church in Reynoldsville. She was a member of the Reynoldsville Catholic Daughters of America, and was past three-term Regent Court St. Mary's #890; she was also financial secretary, vice regent and treasurer. She volunteered at DRMC and was a Eucharistic Minister at DRMC since 1996. She was a former Girl Scout, Brownie and Junior troop leader, was a committee women for both the Junior and Cadet troops and served as neighborhood coordinator.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen S. Kutoloski (Sheldon Asnien) of Solon, Ohio, Susan Day (Dennis) of Reynoldsville, Pa., and Ann Marie Ross (Ronald) of Akron, Ohio; eight grandchildren: Alec and Carter Asnien of Solon, Ohio, Derik Day (Ashley) and Jo Dee Mulhollan (Heath) of Reynoldsville, Pa., Kristin Day of DuBois, Pa., Andrew, Hannah and Brandon Ross of Akron, Ohio; and three great-grandchildren, Jacob and Kylie Day and Claire Mulhollan of Reynoldsville, Pa.
In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by brother, Charles Smith.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017, at St. Mary's Catholic Church located at 607 E. Main St., Reynoldsville, PA 15851, with the Fr. William Barron officiating. Interment will be in St Mary's Cemetery, Reynoldsville, Pa.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 18, 2017, at Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home Inc., 206 E. Main St., Reynoldsville, Pa. Recitation of rosary will be held at 3 p.m. at Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home followed by Catholic Daughters of America Services.
