Margaret Elaine Hullihen, 76, of DuBois, and formerly of Penfield, passed away Thursday morning, Nov. 30, 2017, at the home of her daughter, Linda Pentz, after a lengthy illness.
Born April 27, 1941, in Clearfield, she was the daughter of John James and Stella Lavina (Patterson) Hunt. Mrs. Hullihen was a homemaker and also had worked for Van Hullihen Trucking as a secretary.
On April 30, 1958, she wed Charles Albert Hullihen who preceded her in death on April 8, 1993. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, James Hullihen; a brother, James D. Hunt Sr.; and a sister, Marlene Ricketts.
Surviving are three daughters, Gale Schickling and husband Richard of Clearfield, Linda Pentz of DuBois and Sylvia Sherwood of Penfield. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; a brother, William Patterson and wife Joan of Kerrmoor; and a dear family friend and companion, John Potempa of DuBois.
Services for Mrs. Hullihen will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville, on Monday, Dec. 4, 2017, at 11 a.m., with Pastor Sara Sedrick officiating. Interment will be in the Fruit Hill Cemetery, Ansonville, Pa.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017, from 2 to 5 p.m. and again on Monday from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m.
