Mary Emma Clinton, 88, DuBois, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 19, 2015, at Christ the King Manor.
Born Oct. 19, 1926, in Houston Township, Clearfield County, she was the daughter of the late Blake and Mildred Kantz Hoyt.
Mary had worked at Brockway Glass as a packer and Bell Telephone as an operator.
She was a member of Narrows Creek Church.
Mary was a graduate of Sandy Township High School and a member of the Christian Women's Association. She loved spending time with her family and traveling.
She is survived by four children: Harry J. Clinton and his wife, Cindy, of DuBois; Donald M. Clinton and his wife, Sharon, of Denver, Colo.; Dana S. Kromer and her husband, Richard, of DuBois; Joseph A. Clinton and his wife, Barb, of DuBois; stepson, Dennis L. Clinton and his wife, Mary Ann, of Warren; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several stepgrandchildren.
Mary was the last member of her generation, having also been preceded in death by her first husband, Harry D. Clinton on Feb. 15, 1971, and her second husband, Delbert LeRoy Clinton on Jan. 2, 1999; a stepdaughter, Janet Ellinger; a grandson, Jeffrey James Clinton; two brothers, Iyre and James Blake Hoyt; and a sister, Glydine Hook.
Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2015, and from 10 a.m. until the hour of services Thursday, April 23, 2015, at the Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel Inc., DuBois. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 23, 2015, at the funeral chapel with Pastor Bruce Kuhmer officiating. Interment will be in Morningside Cemetery.
