Mary M. "Bonnie" Bianco Britton, 80, Falls Creek, died Monday, Dec. 22, 2014, at Penn Highlands DuBois.
Born Aug. 14, 1934, in Walston, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Pauline Knopick Bianco.
Mrs. Britton was a homemaker and devoted mother and grandmother.
She was a member of Saint Bernard's Catholic Church in Falls Creek and loved her "church family."
She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and the Auxiliary Eagles. She was a graduate of Punxsutawney High School and was known as a hard worker who loved to cook and prepare family meals, baking for her family and friends and had a passion for yard sales.
She was a proud grandmother who dearly loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by four children, three sons: Mark Britton and his wife, Susan, of DuBois, David Britton of Brockway, Tim Britton of Falls Creek; and her daughter, Kathy (BJ) Amatrone of Brockway; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; one brother, Frank Bianco and his wife, Judy, of Brockway; and one sister, Gerry Bray and her husband, Jeff, of Brockway.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, infant Richard, and Gene Bianco; one sister, Polly Cielo; and a grandson, Robby Britton.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 26, 2014, at Brenda D. Shumaker Funeral Home Inc., Punxsutawney.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014, at Saint Bernard's Catholic Church in Falls Creek officiated by the Rev. Fr. Matias Quimno.
Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Punxsutawney. Online condolences may be made at www.shumakerfh.com.
