Robert M. Boboige, 76, DuBois, passed away Friday, Aug. 8, 2014, at Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Born May 18, 1938, he was a son of the late Michael and Ethel L. Haag Boboige in Sykesville.
On Aug. 16, 1996, he was married to Renate Hennige in Cooksburg. She survives.
Robert graduated from Sykesville-Henderson High School in 1956. He went on to work for V.T. Smith Dairy for 22 years and then Penn State DuBois for nine additional years. He was a member of the Brockway Church of God.
Robert enjoyed antique cars, country music, gardening, and creating furniture out of nothing with his own hands.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Brian (Joan) Boboige of Vandalia, Ohio and Brenda J. Boboige of Pittsburgh; as well as two siblings, Donald R. Boboige of Brookville and Karen I. (Earl) Stover of Falls Creek.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no public visitation. A private family viewing and service will be held at the convenience of the family with Rev. David Nagele officiating. Interment will be in Morningside Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Adamson Funeral Chapel, Inc. of DuBois.
