Robert M. Pendro of DuBois and North Braddock, age 83, passed away Dec. 9, 2016.
He was born in North Braddock, May 27, 1933, to the late Veronica Seaman and Michael Pendro.
Robert was a retired carpenter and maintenance man with the East Allegheny High School.
He was an Army veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict.
His camp in DuBois, Pa., which he built himself, was his pride and joy; he spent much time there. He belonged to the Pennsylvania Wildlife Habitat Unlimited. His only hunting while at camp was done with a camera.
He loved woodworking and carpentry work.
Robert was also predeceased by a brother, Ronald Pendro.
He is survived by a sister, Martha (Forrest) Burnette, Moon Twp.; nieces and nephews: Marvin (Susan) Kotvas, Michael, Matthew, Cassie Kotvas, all of Moon Twp., Cynthia (Michael) Maxiener, Jacob, Joshua, Joseph and Samantha Maxiener, all of Moon Twp., Candace Burnette and fiancé (Daniel Lutsch), Moon Twp., Sean (Lori) Burnette and Cooper Burnette, all of Warrendale, Pa.
Family will receive friends Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Copeland Moon Twp. Funeral Home, 981 Brodhead Road, where a Blessing Service will be held Thursday at 9:30 a.m. followed by interment in Monongahela Cemetery in North Braddock, Pa., with military honors.
