Robert "John" McIntyre, 57, Jefferson Street, Falls Creek, died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2015, at Christ the King Manor.
Born April 6, 1957, in Punxsutawney, he was the son of the late Charles and Joan Dawson McIntyre.
He served in the United States Army.
John had worked at Airco-Speer Carbon in Punxsutawney for many years.
Recently, he worked for Dworsky's Environmental Services.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie # 965 in Falls Creek and the Olympic Athletic Club.
He enjoyed fishing and loved the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He made his home with Jackie Lester, his longtime companion. She survives.
He is also survived by a daughter, Laraine Kearney; four sons: Rick, David and Shaun Seese, and Joe Lester; two sisters, Joan and Kristine McIntyre; a brother, Charles McIntyre; and 12 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015, at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home Inc., DuBois. Private funeral services will be held.
