Frank R. Gamba

Frank R. Gamba, 91, of Vineland, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, in the South Jersey Healthcare Regional Medical Center.

Frank was born in Philadelphia on April 15, 1921, but lived most of his life in Vineland. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He worked at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard for many years, then for Cumberland County in the Weights and Measures Department. Frank was a member of the Landisville American Legion Post No. 270, and a honorary member of the Millville Elks Lodge No. 580. His smile and quick wit will be sadly missed by his family and many close friends.

Frankie is survived by three sisters, Germaine and Mary Gamba of Vineland, and Joann Saul (Butch) of Millville; four nephews, Vincent Saul (Doris), Stephen Saul (Katie), Kenneth Saul (Stephanie) and Douglas Saul (Stacey); and six great-nephews and nieces, Ryan, Michael, Kyle, Samantha, Emma and Madilyn Saul.

Funeral services will be private. Memorial donations may be made to the Millville Elks Lodge No. 580, Youth Activities Fund, 1815 E. Broad St., Millville, NJ 08332. Written condolences may be sent to:rocapshannon@aol.com
