Marco Cheli

Marco Cheli, 90, of Vineland passed away on March 4, 2013 at his home.

Marco was preceded by his wife of 65 years, Rose (Scrivani), who passed away 24 days ago on Feb. 8, 2013. Marco was the owner and operator of Cheli Oil & Coal Co. for 60 years, a business his father started. Marco worked until the age of 70. He was a World War II veteran, a member of the VFW, Knights of Columbus, Sons of Italy and The North Italy Club. Marco enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Pam Hain and Frank Marino of Norristown, Pa.; son and daughter-in-law, Jacob and Lisa Cheli of Exton, Pa.; sister and brother-in-law, Elsie Jane and Bob Donigan; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Jacob and Ada (Fiocchi) Cheli, and brother, David Cheli.

A church visitation will be held on Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by a funeral Mass at 1 p.m. from Christ the Good Shepherd Parish-Church of St. Isidore the Farmer, 1655 Magnolia Road, Vineland. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.

Arrangements are under the supervision of Rone Funeral Service, 1110 E. Chestnut Ave., Vineland.
