Miguel Lopez Obituary
AGE: 53 • Vineland
Miguel "Chuito" Lopez, Jr., 53 of Vineland passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2017.
Born in Bridgeton, NJ, he was a lifelong resident of the Vineland area and attended Vineland Public Schools.
Miguel was a barber and worked for Nick's Barber Shop in Vineland for many years. He enjoyed drawing, carpentry, barbeques and loved his Kango hats. Most of all, he enjoyed being with his family, friends, cutting hair and making people laugh.
Hi is predeceased by his father, Miguel Lopez, Sr.
Miguel is survived by 2 sons, Michael Dequan Mayes and Peter "Pookie" A. Smith both of Vineland; 2 daughters, Melissa Lopez and Sheinna Cruz both of Vineland; his mother, Alice Lopez of Vineland; 2 brothers, Julio Lopez of Vineland and Carlos Lopez of AZ; 4 sisters, Miguellina Platt of AZ, Linda Lopez of Millville, Norma Smith of Mays Landing and Rachel Lopez of DE; 2 granddaughters, Jadelyn Lopez and Jazlynn Cruz.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will be private. Family and friends will be received on Sunday afternoon from 12pm to 2pm at the funeral home. Memories, thoughts and prayers may be extended to the family by visiting dlfuneral.com.
