As I write these words the pain I feel in my heart can only be something close to what you feel in the lost of your beloved Mother. I will miss the actractive woman with a spunky personlaity and smiling face and defintely home cooked meals that she would prepare the day of Accion Social Puertorriquena,Inc. meetings. Growing up, I saw the hard work and time she dedicated to her family and community. I admired and respected her for the social/civic endeavors and fighting for the rights of others

Carmen was my Mother's Friend since 1952 upon establishing their homes in Vineland, NJ and later became "Comadres". They shared much.

On behalf of my mother Matilde Custodio, Sister Bruni, Brother Henry, our children Lisa and Alan, Jasmine and Shane, Nadia and Alex, Adam and Michael we send our condolences to the Ocasio Family.

Carmen que tu alma descanse en paz! Carmen siempre te recordamos al igual que a Elviro por toda la ayuda que le distes a los comerciantes hispanos cuando ellos mas necesitaban.
Carmen, Death is not the end. Death is really the biginnng --- another step forward in Heavently father's plan for his chldren . Someday, like everyone else your physical body will die. But your spirit does not die, it goes to the spitit world , where will continue to learn and progress and may be with loved ones who have passed on.
Death is a necessary step in your progression, just as your birth was. Sometime after yor death, your spirit and your body will be re-united ---never to be separated again. This is called resurrection, and it as made possible by the death an Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

My deeply condolences to all Elviro and carmen's children,Grand children and in fact to the rest of their family.

May God have Mercy on your soul!
