Cecile Corliss Coelho (Perkins), 94, of Vineland passed away early Saturday morning, Nov. 11, 2012, in Eagleview Nursing Center, Pittsgrove, after an extended illness.
Cecile was born in Lodi, N.Y., and raised in Vineland, where she was a longtime resident. She had resided in Carneys Point for 30 years before returning to Vineland in 2011. She was the daughter of the late Jennie (Spencer) and Harold C. Perkins.
She also was predeceased by her husbands, Joseph Corliss, in 1970, and John Coelho in 2008, as well as her sister, Dorothy Slaw, and brother, Harold Perkins.
In her early years, Cecile worked as a glassworker for the Owens-Illinois Kimble Glass Co. in Vineland. She later went to work as a payroll clerk for the city of Vineland. She attended the Faith Bible Church and supported its ministries before joining Bethel Bible Baptist Church, Carneys Point. Cecile also enjoyed socializing with friends and traveling.
She is survived by her sister, Nancy Reese; and brothers, Herbert and wife Carmella Perkins, and Paul and wife Sue Perkins; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends will be received Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Pancoast Funeral Home, 676 S. Main Road, Vineland, where her funeral service will be conducted at 11. Burial will be in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland.
