Louis Gaggiotti, 79, of Hopewell Township, died Friday afternoon June 6, 2014 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland where he had been a patient for the last two weeks. Born in Janesville, PA., he was the son of the late Luigi and Ida Lavine Gaggiotti and the husband of the late Mildred V. "Millie" (nee Sistek) Gaggiotti, who died in 2001.
He is survived by one daughter, Adela Harris (Bruce) of Bridgeton, three sons, Louis Gaggiotti Jr. (Barbara) of Virginia Beach, VA., Raymond Gaggiotti (Robin) of Norfolk, VA., and David Sistek Gaggiotti of Virginia Beach, VA., six grandchildren, Zachary Harris, Alex and Andrew Gaggiotti Ashley Youngblood, Raymond Jr. and Julianna Gaggiotti, two great grandchildren, Landon and Mason Youngblood. He is also survived by a cousin, Bonnie Badami, who he raised, her husband Jim and their son Ryan of Little Rock, AK, three sisters, Alfreda Halasowski (Joe), Arlene Borish (Wally) and Norma Lorenzetti, one brother, Dave Gaggiotti (Jeanette) and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. Lou was preceded in death by two sisters, Clotilda "Tee" Carracillo and Rose Marie Collier and three brothers-in-law, John Lorenzetti, Peter Carracillo and Phil Collier.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral which will begin at the Freitag Funeral Home, 137 W. Commerce St., Bridgeton on Tuesday morning June 10th at 11 o'clock and will be followed by an 11:30 Funeral Liturgy at The Parish of the Holy Cross / Church of the Immaculate Conception, 312 N. Pearl Street in Bridgeton. The interment will follow at Overlook Cemetery in Bridgeton. Friends will be received at the funeral home Tuesday morning from 9 until 11. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to The Good Shepherd Dining Hall or to The Parish of the Holy Cross, both c/o 46 Central Avenue, Bridgeton, NJ 08302.
