Edward P. Werger

AGE: 87 • Vineland

Edward P. Werger, 87, of Vineland, passed away suddenly on Wednesday July 23, 2014. He was born in Carlstadt, NJ on June 4, 1927.

Shortly after finishing high school he joined the armed services and served with the US Navy during World War II on a tanker stationed out of Japan. He worked as a paint foreman in the maintenance department at Ancora State Psychiatric Hospital, retiring after 35 years of service. Edward is survived by his three children; Lois Ingersoll, of Mays Landing, NJ., Edward A. Werger of Colorado and Lori A. Bringer of Ohio; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Home Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 29 from 9-10am at Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am from Christ The Good Shepherd Parish - Church Of Saint Isidore The Farmer, 1655 Magnolia Road, Vineland, NJ.
