AGE: 65 • Vineland

Richard S. "Reno" Kurshner, 65, of Vineland, NJ passed away late Thursday evening at home after a brief illness. Richard was born & raised in Brooklyn, NY and had resided in Vineland for the past 30 yrs. He was the son of the late Nathan & Irene Kurshner.

Before retiring in 2009, Richard was employed as a Gaming Supervisor with the Bally's Park Place Casino in Atlantic City. He had previously worked in the casino industry in Reno, NV. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War. Richard was a lifelong sports fan and enjoyed his N.Y. baseball, hockey, basketball & football teams. His home was his castle and he enjoyed spending time at home watching his beloved N.Y. Yankee's on the T.V. He is survived by his wife of 25 yrs.; Denise M. (nee Robinson). Sister; Gail Robinson

Relatives & friends will be received on Tuesday November 19, 2013 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at the Pancoast Funeral Home, 676 S. Main Rd., Vineland,NJ where his funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
