Diane Rose Losinski, 80 of Bronson passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018 while at her home surrounded by her loving family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Assumption Church in Bronson with The Very Rev. Mark Vyverman officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Bronson. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson with Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
Diane was born March 16, 1938 to Stanley and Mary (Rzepka) Smoker in Bronson. Shortly after graduation from Bronson High School, she married the love of her life, Alvin Losinski on November 24, 1956 at St. Mary's. Diane worked for 27 plus years as a Bus Driver for the Bronson School System.
Diane was a woman of strong faith and a lifelong member of St. Mary's, where she was very active including playing the organ for Mass.
She was very involved with the Bronson KOC and Polish Festival. Diane was well known for her cooking, especially baking goodies. She was the matriarch of her family, always putting their needs above all. Her true joy in life was spending time with all of her family, but especially the grandchildren. She will be remembered for being very wise, witty, strong, and outspoken. Diane will be missed by many.
Mrs. Losinski is survived by her husband of 62 years, Alvin Losinski of Bronson; her children Allen Losinski, Danny Losinski, Mark (Cindy) Losinski, Kristy (Matthew) Rissman all of Bronson, and Kevin (Shari) Losinski of Colorado Springs, CO; her grandchildren Lucas, Lance, Trenton, and Corey Losinski, Brandi Perez, Alicia Himebaugh, Karah, Dilan, and Emily Rissman; 9 great grandchildren; and her dog "Oscar". She was preceded in death by her parents Stanley and Mary Smoker and her brother Deacon Gerald Smoker.
Memorials may be directed to St. Mary's Church or the Bronson Fire Department.
