Mary Way Leising Obituary
Mary Way Leising, 82, of Jonesville, passed away Friday, September 7, 2018 at her home. She was born June 24, 1936 in Coldwater to Wayne and Dorothy (Lockwood) Way.
Mary married Dr. Ray Leising on February 14, 1981 and he survives.
Mary graduated from Coldwater High School in 1955 and she received her Bachelor's Degree from Hillsdale College. She went on to become a Registered Nurse, working for Dr. Vear in Hillsdale and retiring from the Manor Foundation in Jonesville. Mary was a member of the Jonesville First Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed being outdoors, canoeing and walking.
Surviving besides her husband, Ray are seven children, David Hill of Grand Junction, Michigan, Martha (Jeff) Hurley of Jonesville, Rebecca (Mike) Reed of Hillsdale, Sarah (Jim) Seta of Dexter, Scott (Jen) Leising of Jonesville, Mary (Dana) Shankle of Adrian and Jim (Teresa) Leising of Jonesville; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jim Way.
Memorial services for Mary Leising will be heldSaturday, September 22, 2018 at 12 p.m. at Jonesville First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Lynne McQuown officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday from 10 a.m..until the time of services at the church. Family interment will take place in the Jonesville First Presbyterian Church Memorial Garden. Arrangements are entrusted to Eagle Funeral Home in Jonesville.
