Ethel J. Thetga, 83, of Towanda Memorial Skilled Nursing Unit, Towanda, Pa., passed away Friday afternoon, March 22, 2013, at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pa.
Born Oct. 29, 1929, in Towanda, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Fred and Lena Benjamin Stroud.
On July 5, 1952 she married Ted E. Thetga.
In earlier years, Ethel was employed at the Towanda Folding Box Company.
Ethel loved working in her garden and flower beds and spending time outdoors.
She was predeceased by her husband Ted E. Thetga. Also, brother Robert Stroud, Joseph Stroud and sister, Pauline Lantz Northrop.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Wysox Cemetery, Wysox, Pa. There are no calling hours.
