Deborah Decker Rouco

Deborah Decker Rouco passed on to a better place at Morris View Healthcare Center in Morris Plains, N.J. after a long illness on Sunday, March 3, 2013.

Debi was a lover of music, nature and all animals. She enjoyed camping and being outdoors in the company of friends and family. Deborah was also a fine artist who produced many beautiful paintings, prints and poetry. Her many friends and family will miss her warmth and joyful personality that livened every gathering.

She graduated from Towanda High School in 1968 and received a BFA degree in Art Education from Mansfield State College in 1975. She was employed at Dupont in Towanda for many years before starting her own house cleaning business.

Deborah was the daughter of Vincent and Marian Decker of Towanda. She is survived by her husband Jose Rouco of Boonton N.J.; her nephew Vincent Watkins and wife Jennifer of Wilmington, Del.; her step-brother Clyde Miller of Patchogue N.Y.; and her step-sister Rhoda and Bernie Sheret of Vestal, N.Y.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Maryott-Bowen Funeral Home, 217 York Ave., Towanda, Pa. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Towanda. Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
