Evelyn Ann Kerrick Baker

Evelyn Ann Kerrick Baker, 70, formerly of East Towanda, passed away early Saturday morning, Dec. 8, 2012 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Tim Leighton in LeRaysville

following a battle with cancer. Evelyn was born in Towanda on Nov. 7, 1942 the daughter of Ralph and Mildred Kilmer Kerrick. On Jan. 10, 1965 she married George Richard Baker at the Wysox Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband on Dec. 27, 2000. Evelyn was employed by Masonite Corporation in Wysox for 30 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, crafting and attending Old Timer's Shows.

She is survived by her daughters, Carol (Brent) Beidleman of Sayre and Tammy (Tim) Leighton of LeRaysville; grandchildren, Tanya (Carl) Loomis of Meshoppen, Jeffery Beers of Cresson, Brent Beidleman Jr. and partner Cassie of Sayre, Elmer Beidleman of Sayre and Tim "T.J" Leighton of LeRaysville; great grandchildren, Tyler, Colby, and Mackenzie Loomis of Meshoppen and Aleeah Beidleman of Sayre; sister, Susan Achramowicz of California; brother, Ralph (Joyce) Kerrick of Towanda; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Christopher along with other family members. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012 at the Athens Township Fire Hall. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the fire hall.
